Today we witnessed great scenes in Indian politics when two major opposition parties supported government on women bill. It was a rare occasion when such a political consensus was formed. However, this change is going to bring shivers to people who are power hungry and live in a tradition to pass on the legacy to their sons or other family members but at the same time it opens a Pandora box where powerful politicians can name their wife or daughter or son or other family members so that if their constituency falls under reservation category then that seat remains in the family fold. So the idea of increasing demographical representation of women in Indian politics can be hijacked by families who are in power for long time and can hamper the chances of new people to join politics and change the face of India.
New Era Politics
Today we saw that major opposition parties supported the bill. The reason for this is that CPI & BJP tried to pass this bill when they were in power and in today’s time they understand that with the power of Media & Internet people are aware of the facts as it is readily available so merely opposing for the sake of opposing is not going to work in new India. so these two parties have shown great maturity but at the same time RJD, SP & TMC couldn’t handled the new consensus as they were totally driven by politics of vote bank and ideological opposition. The fact is that BJP and CPI have shown the maturity which is the need of the hour as Indians truly understand what is happening in the political space and cannot be fooled by mere words and these two parties have understood this and will surely be benefited in longer run and India as a whole will also be benefited in longer run as politics of destructive opposition or politics of vote bank is not going to work in new India.
End of RJD, SP is Inevitable
These two parties have always played politics on caste & religion.Till now they have been fairly successful but the emergence of new India is going to pose a great threat to these two parties as they are unable to bring change in their cadre. They are thinking that by reviving vote bank politics they can revive the fortunes of their party. With the penetration of Education and empowerment with the likes of Women bill will further deter their chances as their politics is based on cast & Religion and today’s India demands employment , growth perspectives, better civic amenities, etc.
New India should come forward:
It is the voice of people which has seen this bill through. Now government is committed towards the end users as they are demanding actions from the government. Now it is the turn of people to take full advantage of new era and join politics to bring change in the system. They should not let the powerful political families to rule them and should put their foot forward and make their presence felt at the national parliament scene as only then this country will achieve serious objective of building new India

Congress having a free run under uncharismatic leader:
Other night I was watching Loksabha highlights where Opposition leader LK Advani asked questions on secret meetings with Pakistan & America and Prime minister should notify the house on it. In response to Advani our Prime minister cleverly chose a line that” during NDA regime they also had secret meetings and house was never informed “
In another incident on Price rise Sushma swaraj highlighted Congress government failure on combating price rise. In response to this Sanjay nirupam targeted MP & Gujarat governments which were ruled by BJP.
Above incident shows that the government which is ruling us doesn’t want to concentrate on real issues or doesn’t want to see its deficiencies but replies to opposition in same venom as it was asked. The problem here is our national politics has always been built around emotional issues that’s why congress always plays minority card whereas BJP plays majority card and when real issues arises they try to escape and talk irrelevant things like our Prime minister did in response to LK Advani. If government was serious could have replied that it has never happened or government is trying to find the solution and House will be informed in a due course.
Media a great Help to Brand Image of Congress
In today’s world where media makes & breaks opinions, congress is using this tool efficiently and projecting themselves as the only party which is interested in keeping the secular fabrics of India intact though they don’t hesitate in playing minority politics as it gives them direct access to 15 crores voters and they want this voters to remain terrified of BJP thus they do little in upliftment of this class or getting rid of ghettoisation and implementing real secular initiatives. On the other hand BJP is always subjected in Media as a communal face though they have done little to change this perception as projection of Varun Gandhi or VInay katiar only adds to the fire. So Media has efficiently projected congress party as a party of youth or of todays India which is aspiring for growth & opportunities, whereas BJP is projected as a communal party. Even if Congress is failed to implement NREGA successfully the opposition is being blamed or if congress is failed to curb price rise opposition is blamed that they are trying to score political points and media always support the government or doesn’t highlight its deficiencies.
The cowardice of terrorism which this country is facing is being handled in a very soft manner and the moment any party tries to highlight the cause of it gets the tag of communal or a party trying to create a rift in the country. The fact is during last UPA term we had more than 16 Blast by Islamic terrorists but media & government were adamant that this has nothing to do with a particular religion, of course it has nothing do with majority of a religion who want to carry this country forward but some elements in their religion are doing it in the name of Islamic Jihad but no one is willing to touch that topic as it directly affects the vote bank. So with the help of Media congress is getting a free hand , they are least bothered about Price rise or terrorism or unemployment and they are facing little pressure from opposition or normal public as their brand image created by media is taking care of negative publicity

That era really passed like a Fast paced Bollywood flick but to their credit BJP was remembered for Post Godhra riots whereas during congress rule there were several attempts of Islamic terrorism on our country and government showed very little credibility in dealing with those but they were awarded with another term. This has made BJP susceptible to hindutva card as they know majority voters are divided and the undivided vote bank of Muslims is the key to come to the power.

Irony of a free state
US has always been subjugated that it enforces its way on others, this claim has mainly come from Muslims, primarily Arabs. US make its policies on the basis of Free State but it has an economic agenda riding all over it, whereas Arab has agenda based on Muslim religion or Muslim brotherhood. If centuries ago US would have tried to wriggled its way out on Arabs perhaps it might have faced the heat of Muslim brotherhood but being cut off from the rest of the world US had acquired tremendous power over the period of time but US still remains a free state whereas Arabs are still living in 700AD when Muslim religion was on surge & it united Arabs and also saved them from attacks so Arabs in present era are still skeptical in relaxing their laws towards other faiths or becoming tolerant towards other faiths. However, in recent years USA and tolerant countries have been subjected that they are intolerant and treating Muslims shabbily. In India it is widely propagated that US under the regime of Bush was an evil state whereas the fact was that US wanted to preserved its secular structure and at the same time was mindful of the fact that strict actions were to be taken to fight terrorism . So they launched a massive campaign based on religious profiling, which was seen as a tool to harass Muslims. There is a very unique quality of Majority Muslims that they will seldom raise their voice against Arabs that it should also promote liberty & should allow other faiths to follow their religion in public though they will always give a counter argument that being living in a free state all citizens should be allowed to practice their faiths and since Arabs are not a free state so it is unviable.
Secular Lobby:
This lobby never leave a chance in criticizing tolerant states, take an example of India, it is always subjugated that its bureaucracy is governed by upper caste Hindus and they make policies which are intolerant towards Muslims and they are subjugated to harassment. If you look at Indian population after independence Muslim population has grown significantly compared to Hindus whereas Hindu population in Pakistan has declined considerably therefore this argument doesn’t hold good. Since majority Hindus are tolerant you will see that there are more cases of Hindu girls marrying Muslim boys and embracing Islam whereas there are almost insignificant numbers where a Hindu boy marries a Muslim girl. This is another example which shows that Majority religion, which is Hindu in this case, has seldom oppressed Muslims.
The secular lobby always expects that non Muslims should be tolerant towards Muslim and accept their ways whereas when it comes to majority Muslim conveying the same feeling it is often ridiculed that it is not as per Quran or Islam. If an Indian belief promotes Vande matram or project India as Bharat Mata, it is being seen as a intrusion or an offence to Muslim.
It is because of tolerant Christians or Hindus or Buddhist that democracy has been made successful and we are seeing Free states in Canada, US, Europe, India etc. but because of Intolerant Muslims we can’t see any democracy and liberty in Middle East, Islamic nations in Africa and Asia and secular lobby doesn’t pay any heed to this. It is because of intolerant Muslims India has still not been able to produce a Uniform civil code which can be termed upon each and every Indian.
Religion VS Economy
When US attacked Afghanistan and Iraq it united entire Muslim population against US even US Muslim citizens criticized Bush government. The very first thought that cross my mind that a Muslim will give priority to his Muslim brother rather than to the land where he is born or he is a citizen of. This is a blatant fact that Muslims always unite for the cause of other Muslims and this brotherhood transcends borders.
So Arabs has an agenda which was launched way back in 700Ad to unite whole world under Muslim brotherhood and gain supremacy over the population whereas US is in a quest to control entire world on this basis of Economics. They are allowing world’s best talent to work in America, making considerable investment in research & development and changing the life of each individual on this planet. US gave us phone, Television, Internet, Google, Twitter which has completely transformed everyday life of a person. So US will continue its quest, at present they have the supremacy and in near future there is no pertinent threat to this supremacy.

Indians always pull brand India down; SRK no exception
Before I get into SRK & Sena controversy, I Just want to highlight that western countries will always put their country's image first, look at Australians even when whole of one billion India making noise against racial attacks on Indians in Australia, they are least bothered and till date not willing to accept as it can tarnish their image. Now come back to India when SRK & other franchisee owners decided not to bid for Pakistanis there was uproar in Pakistan & India chose to respond to that in the form of SRK. He went on to quote that "They are the best in the world and feel sad that they were insulted". He immediately acknowledged that there was a mistake on the part of India though he could have chose to ignore the question by rubbishing as non issue but he wanted to empathise with the cause of Pakistanis since he is a pure businessman as he has huge Pakistani fan base living in UK, UAE, USA and Australia. He wanted to safeguard his business interest before thinking about brand India. It is because of people like SRK & a party like Shiv Sena we have a bad image abroad that we are not secular, we indulge in violence, this country is not fit to travel, and people of this country are not united. In a democracy people are free to air their views but it’s sad that people of this country are so blind that they can’t see the hidden agenda of SRK behind this controversy. He is only concerned about his business interest even at the expense of Brand India. It is the misery of this country that people are willing to demolish brand India for their personal gains. This country is in such an awe of his persona that big Media houses such as NDTV & CNN IBN convinently showed SRK as a victim in this controversy. OF course if Shiv Sena go for Hooliganism that is unacceptable but if they choose to do silent protest than there is nothing wrong. Look at Pakistan when late Feroz Khan said in Pakistan that Indian Muslims have more freedom in India. He was sent back the very next day. Pakistan cannot take from anybody which tarnishes their Muslim brand image, which in a way is correct on their part.
SRK believes that "it is his right to do what he thinks is correct", then why he cried foul and played his Muslim minority card when US security officials did what they thought was right by interrogating him? You cannot take a stance which is convenient to you. At that point salman Khan came out and said that it’s not a big deal to go under security checks in US".
Brand India is never united we are willing to pull it down on petty issues. It is time that we all take pledge that Brand image of India will always be put above all and will not be compromised on any issue.
